The game is played on a 5×5 grid with points connected by horizontal, vertical, and diagonal lines. Each player starts with 12 pieces. The centre point is empty.
Move one piece per turn to an adjacent connected point. Normal moves can go forward, sideways, or diagonally forward only — no backward movement for simple moves.
Jump over an adjacent opponent piece to an empty point beyond it. Captures can go in any direction, including backward and diagonal.
After a capture, if another capture is available, you must continue jumping in the same turn (chain capture).
If a capture is available, you must capture. You cannot make a simple move when a capture exists.
Capture all opponent pieces, or leave the opponent with no legal moves.
Same 5×5 board but with no diagonal lines — only horizontal and vertical connections. Each player starts with 12 pieces.
Normal pieces move forward or sideways only — no backward, no diagonals. One step at a time to an adjacent connected point.
Jump over an adjacent opponent piece to an empty point beyond it. Captures are also restricted to forward and sideways only.
Capturing is not mandatory. If a player misses a capture opportunity, the opponent can triple-click (or triple-tap) the piece that should have captured. That piece is removed ("huffed"), and the opponent immediately gets to play their turn.
There is no visual indicator when a capture is missed — you must pay attention and notice it yourself. If you don't notice it before making your own move, the game continues normally.
When a piece reaches the opponent's back row, it becomes a King (marked with a crown glow). A King can move backward and slide any number of squares horizontally or vertically.
A King captures by jumping over an opponent piece and landing on any empty square beyond it along the line (long-range capture).
Capture all opponent pieces, or leave the opponent with no legal moves.
